VWS International has been commissioned to supply a total of eleven lines with weighing and labelling systems of the Octopus Ace type to Zijerveld, the former Bakker Kaas in Bodegraven, The Netherlands and now part of FrieslandCampina. All eleven lines are also equipped with an end-of-line weigher with an Octopus terminal.
"The Octopus Ace, which was completely developed and built in-house, is the new standard in fully automatic weighing and labelling. Thanks to the innovative software and the application of the most advanced weighing and printing technology, the systems fully meet the requirements of today and the future," says CEO Patrick van der Vegt of VWS International. "The stainless steel Windows-based Octopus terminal can be networked, has a clear screen layout and provides simple operation for weighing products and registering orders."
VWS International supplies fast and reliable systems for automatic in-line weighing and labelling of cheese, among other things. The clear touchscreen control terminals provide easy operation. Of course, the systems can be linked to higher-level ERP software systems for optimal manageability of data flows. "This order indicates that there is also demand from this market for our knowledge and flexibility. In addition to the quality of our products, we particularly distinguish ourselves in the field of flexibility and service," says Patrick van der Vegt.
