Treur Kaas
VWS International has been commissioned to supply a weighing and labelling system of the Octopus Max XL type to Treur Kaas, a cheese wholesaler and family business based in Woerden, The Netherlands. Since 1955, Treur Kaas has been maturing and caring for Dutch cheeses in its own cheese warehouse. A constant temperature and humidity prevail here so that the optimal taste can develop. Treur Kaas is run by the two brothers Daan and René Treur. The third generation also entered in 2015, namely Eduard Treur.
The Octopus Max XL is used for weighing whole cheeses and boxes with pieces of cheese. "This order indicates that there is also demand from this market for our knowledge and flexibility. In addition to the quality of our products, we particularly distinguish ourselves in the field of flexibility and service," says Patrick van der Vegt, CEO of VWS International.
VWS International supplies fast and reliable systems for automatic in-line weighing and labelling of cheese, among other things. The clear touchscreen control terminals provide easy operation. Of course, the systems can be linked to higher-level ERP software systems for optimal manageability of data flows.
